The First Time Shroomer and The Day I Was a Killer

But not like Papa who was a Rolling Stone. It was some day in September, but not the third.

It was a day I will always remember because that was the day…

Of course, by now, all that’s happening as you’re reading this is that tune playing in your head and naturally I oblige to please. Even if only to show those clothes they wore in those days.

And, because you can’t resist the trumpet in it.

Sympatheia, the Stoic Affinity to a Larger Interconnected Organism

When people gain their first insights in stoicism, often they tend to focus rather on how stoicism can help one to improve gaining a healthy perspective and finding things occurring in life less burdensome.

Which stoicism definitely helps with. Stoicism is a great aid in those matters because practicing it helps us remind that we do not have any influence over many things and thus they shouldn’t affect how we live life, how we experience things.

Hi, I’m Addicted… Addicted to Idle Clickers.

As someone who generally doesn’t mind being alone I spend most of days as a fkn philosopher reading. My reading habits are mostly tech/blockchain related and so-called “war stories” books.

The war stories or founder biographies but also the more romantized form of biographies, those of sports people and musicians. What’s not to love about reading an over the top easy Zlatan or Anthony Kiedis story. Generally, despite romanization, there’s a lot of inspiration to be found in those books and life wisdom. No matter how over the top often, there’s always gems to be found.

A Speedrun of Speedruns: Nailing “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time” Faster than this Post

It was late Spring of 1984, the Euro championships were in France and my parents had gone on an early vacation, to former Yougoslavia, with neighbors from the complex. While they were enjoying the great weather around Dubrobvnik, my grandparents had come over to watch me. Aged 9 I was rather self-sustaining already, at least if that meant eating crisps and drinking whichever cold thing I found in the fridge but my cooking skills were below par. Or inexistent.

I had no problem being alone with myself, after all there was cable TV, books, the football ground around the corner, the Olympic swimming pool, and of course that almighty Commodore 64.

Hello world!

I guess this means I have a blog again. Or something like that. This site now only needs an awesome car, a bar, and then the obvious connection to the Steem blockchain.

Until then, enjoy me over at Steemit or, if you prefer typography, then check me out over at busy.org. And if you only care about my hunts, then check me out on Steemhunt.

PS: Let the clean theme not fool you. It may or may not be more stylish than I am. Gorgeous typography, innit?

Batman Ninja, So Differently Badass It’s a Must See

Several moons ago, when I was still wet behind the ears new on Steem, I wrote about Batman Ninja and called it an absolute Whoa moment of last year’s NYCC.

Rereading that post now, I was gushing of happiness then and based on the Internet’s wisdom, and my usual gut feeling, I came to the conclusion that the movie would be ballistically batshit insanely awesome.

Sometimes you just feel a thing is going to be great and you know it’s going to be an amazing ride and there’s no way you’re going to be disappointed.

It’s Male Intuition when all you can think of is Philip J. Fry holding a whack of green notes.

Requiem to a Hangover

The morning after, that horrible feeling of being useless. Useless and void of most energy.

Empty but not totally.

You don’t think the whole world is against you. You don’t think life sucks that much that the MASH theme song is playing through your head. Quietly though, on a very low volume because your head is banging against its seams and everything feels like exploding.

No.

Veganism, Did It Start as a Diet or as a Psychology?

For months I have been spending time getting to grips with WFPB (Whole Food Plant-Based), learning the important ingredients and also gathering recipes and becoming more in creative in the kitchen.

No, not that creative in the kitchen, you little dirty mind! 😉

Much of this knowledge has been gathered browsing the Internet tubes and also the first and foremost location to end up in arguments with activists online, Facebook.

And so, unsurprisingly, it happened that last week I ended up debating the origins of veganism, debating whether it started as the now popular animal rights/love fanclub or as a diet.
