Comic Review: “Plastic” by Doug Wagner

Sometimes you want to write a post or review and for some weird reason you just don’t manage it. You haven’t forgotten about it but even two years later you still sit on it and draw blanks. Which is pretty annoying, especially if it was about a creative work with many drawings, a comic.

Maybe it was the topic and you aren’t fully ready to admit your liking to a specific thing or genre. Definitely not on an immutable platform like the blockchain. Would you admit listening to Adele – Live at the Royal Albert Hall?

Me neither.

I guess the same goes for me when it comes to admitting to liking love stories. Yet, I do.

Batman Ninja, So Differently Badass It’s a Must See

Several moons ago, when I was still wet behind the ears new on Steem, I wrote about Batman Ninja and called it an absolute Whoa moment of last year’s NYCC.

Rereading that post now, I was gushing of happiness then and based on the Internet’s wisdom, and my usual gut feeling, I came to the conclusion that the movie would be ballistically batshit insanely awesome.

Sometimes you just feel a thing is going to be great and you know it’s going to be an amazing ride and there’s no way you’re going to be disappointed.

Comic Review: The Black Monday Murders Vol.1: All Hail, God Mammon

After a recent post around more comics-related content, and comics reviews, here on Steem, of course it is important to put my foot where my mouth is and as they say, lead from the front. Maybe I’m not the ideal example, but I’m not just an armchair critic.

So the first question which came to mind was what comic would be fitting? And to be honest, I already had given that away in the URL of my post introducing comics reviews.
